At Svalinn, our dogs possess a level of sociability and obedience that is unparalleled in the industry. We offer our training methods and expertise to you and your dog to achieve similar results. We use every session as an opportunity to cover essential components such as obedience, stability, socialization and agility to assist you in training a well-adjusted, well-mannered, healthy and happy dog.
Private Training
Customized for you and your dog
We believe that obedience is the foundation to a healthy relationship with your dog. Our private sessions offer a variety of approaches and techniques that enhance this relationship. After achieving the basics of obedience, we can then coach you through advancing training and handling skills, including agility/obstacle work, tracking, and socialization to new environments and individuals. Each session is expected to further the human and dog's understanding of the other, as well as proper forms of communication in various scenarios. All of our training delivers results while being fun and rewarding.
Please note Svalinn DOES NOT train in protection work with outside dogs.
All dogs visiting the Svalinn ranch must be up to date on their vaccinations, including Bordetella, Distemper and Rabies. Proof of vaccinations required.

Individual Training
Experience a personalized, one-on-one training session for you and your dog. We will address any issues that you may be having, ranging from aggression, bad manners, difficulties with children/men/people with hats, etc. Beyond addressing any behavioral issues, we can hone your dog’s foundation of stability, obedience, and socialization.
Our skilled trainers will assist you with your vocals, lead direction, and overall communication with your dog. These individual training sessions provide you with targeted information and tools that will help you work more effectively with your dog. Our goal is to provide the foundational skills to effectively move forward with training on your own accord and to enhance the bond with your dog.

Residential / Board & Train Camp
Want your dog trained by the pros? Send them to us for a minimum of 30 days, and your dog will join the ranks of highly trained Svalinn dogs. Each day, experienced handlers work on obedience, stability, socialization, and agility alongside our dogs. Moreover, we target specific training challenges that you identify in advance such as heeling, marking in your home, off lead recalls, etc.
This intensive, boot camp-style training will provide you with the foundation of obedience that you are seeking. Critical to the training process is your continued involvement with your dog to ensure that they understand the boundaries and expectations in your home. At the end of the boarding we provide a 90-minute private session for you and your dog to ensure the transfer of knowledge and tools required for continuity and success.
