Pre-Delivery Training

PREPARING YOUR DOG
Now that we have worked together to select your dog, we will begin to augment your dog’s daily training regimen with custom inputs that are specific to you, your family, and environment.  Some examples of custom inputs could be trail or road running, interacting with livestock or even house cats. We want to learn as much about your environment and life as possible during your visit so we can ensure a smooth transition. We want to make sure the dog has seen as many similar environments of their new life as possible, ensuring your comfort and confidence in their ability to do their job.

Delivery Training

WHEN YOUR DOG JOINS YOUR HOUSEHOLD
Even with a lifetime of preparation, your protector will perform best in your household if we give them some training — and familiarize you with their cues and expectations. After your dog’s arrival in your household, we’ll do two training sessions on site for a total of 5 days of delivery training. See our INCLUDED TRAINING page for more details.

Maintenance Training

AS NEEDED
Although your protector has been prepared by a lifetime of training and carefully introduced to your household, some maintenance will help to keep them sharp. Our team of trainers is prepared to visit and refresh your dog’s skills as well as developing a response for any unique challenges presented by your needs.
