2020 1/2-day Obedience & Stability (All Dogs Welcome)

*Classes being offered in Fall 2020. Check back for dates soon!  Our 1/2-day course is for all dogs and is an introduction to Svalinn’s methodology of one-direction; one-correction obedience.  Focus is on lead and voice commands as well as hand signals; and coaching on vocals, intonation and praise.  Daily course schedule is 9 am-noon or 1-4 pm.  Reservations taken up to 5 days in advance of course. All participating dogs must be current on local vaccines, including Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies. Recommended age is 8 months and older.  Course confirmation will be sent after full payment. Please select preferred date, and time, from the drop down menu. Cost: $150 USD.  COVID UPDATE: Due to the recent pandemic, we have determined that hosting our group classes at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds is not appropriate at this time. We will however honor those dates and times at our ranch in Livingston, where we can ensure all participants will feel they are in a healthy, thoughtful environment. 


2020 Intro Rural Tracking (All Dogs Welcome)

The one-day introduction to tracking in a rural environment seminar is for all dogs and their handlers. The purpose of the course is to teach the handler and dog team the basics of K9 tracking, understanding scent, wind and other weather considerations. This is a great starter course for those interested in Search and Rescue or for individuals who want to begin tracking with their dog or hone their current tracking foundation. Daily course schedule is 9 am-noon and 1-3 pm.  Reservations taken up to 10 days in advance of course. Course confirmation will be sent after full payment. Cost: $325 USD.
